when you've been so accustomed to certain habits most of your life, it takes awhile for you to forget; when things change, certain behaviours are no longer necessary.

jie insisted we keep the little lamp on as we were about to leave the house, but soon lets out a sigh, "oh...". for there is no need.
i still walk cautiously, eyes on the floor searching for him, later only to realise i won't find him.

but im happy that he came into our lives :)
