twinkling

did you notice the sky tonight?
like a pretty diamond-studded grey blanket
incomparable to the Negev desert's, nevertheless, made by the same hands.
beautiful beyond description.

i made no attempt to recognise any one of the constellations, like astronomers do. but like always, i started to count them. diligently, one star at a time.

sometimes i like to imagine myself frozen in time.
when i stop, father time waits for me.

let me see through your eyes
that i may be wise,
please give me some advise.
Lord, i need You by my side,
in Your Word i will abide.
there is no where i could really hide.
So here i am,
take me by my hand.
